Demand for FareShare’s vital services is higher than ever, with applications for help tripling in recent weeks and 500 new charities signing up to receive support. They’ve stepped up their emergency response, opening eight new warehouses and delivering 90% more food than normal to over 11,000 frontline charities and community groups across the UK.
Behind the scenes, there’s hundreds of amazing volunteers – working around the clock in 24 regional warehouses to keep FareShare moving.
To thank the incredible volunteers and give them a well-deserved pick-me-up, we’ve delivered 18,000 Lyons coffee bags to FareShare warehouses across the country – helping to put a smile on the volunteers’ faces with a much-needed Lyons coffee break.
